Aga Mk1 30Amp Controller
Besides being installed in some Aga installations from new the Aga Mk1 controllers are often used as a replacement for the early Diamond H controllers. Provided that the internal electronic assemblies are in reasonable shape the unit can be refurbished in our workshop. During refurbishment we change any faulty parts and also fix any operational faults. For the refurbishment to be viable the internal printed circuit board assemblies have to be in reasonable condition without any significant mechanical damage or burning. Prior to return of your repaired controller we fully test the operation performance of the Aga control circuits and record these on a test document. The Mk1 Controller uses a Solid State Relay similar to the Crydon D2240 shown in the picture below. This is normally mounted in the body of the Aga 30 Amp. When sending your controller for repair please return the Solid State Relay and I will check this out as part of the refurbishment.
